My first idea was the Mexican flag, but since the eagle was too detailed, it was going to be hard for the vinyl cutter to cut the small piece out. So then I ended up choosing to do the Spanish flag. But nonetheless, I was happy with how my decal turned out.
These are my notes for the vinyl project
I already knew what I wanted to do before class, so coming up with what I wanted to "design" wasn't hard. So I chose to do the Mexican flag. I knew that the eagle was going to be a challenge for the vinyl cutter to cut out.
I got 3/4 pieces cut out for the Mexican flag.
Here the vinyl is cutting the eagle out. I didn't take a picture of it, but it definitely did not turn out the way I was expecting it to. And I talked to Ms. Proctor about it and she said the eagle was too detailed for the vinyl. So that's when I chose to do the Spanish flag.
This is the decal ready to be cut by the vinyl.
The yellow portion of the flag was longer than the red portion, so i had to cut it.
Here is how the decal turned out!
Here's the decal on my phone case!
I learned that using your time wisely can help you a lot in this class. And that class time is very valuable and to not waste it.
